I love learning through podcasts. It started as a way to pass the time in a 2+ hour roundtrip commute (in a previous life) and still remains one of my favorite inspirational tools. In order to help clients and readers make the most of their own time, my #EntrepreneursPodcastClub anthologizes several podcasts with similar themes, curating like-episodes specific to a theme that's top of mind.
You may have heard that all it takes to live the life of your dreams is to imagine it and will it into existence. For those of you who are skeptical, here are a few selections that focus how and why mindset is so important in setting goals and inevitably achieving them and changing your life and business. Personally-- I'm a big believer. I know that when I choose to believe positively about my opportunities and abilities, the self-diminishing talk decreases.
I've found that the way you speak to yourself and think of yourself is the map you give to guide others to think of and speak to you. I've also found that when my mindset is in a positive place, aligned with my goals, I manage to find far more opportunity around me, than in instances of self-doubt and negativity.

WHY NOT NOW, EPISODE 70: Danika Brysha - Living in Surplus: From 6-Figure Debt to Abundance in All Categories
I'm lucky enough to call both of these incredible women mentors of my own. In this conversation between Danika Brysha and Amy Jo Martin, Danika shares her leap from 6-figures in debt and living in her parents garage to wild success. She gives listeners a step-by-step guide into creating sustainable mindset-shifts, and much of her current work is dedicated to spreading that message and sharing her ways with as many women as she can.
"I find a lot of inspiration in my community, I pay attention a lot to what people are asking for, and it tells me what's missing."
Mindset development and increased intentionality are brilliant ways to foster tighter knit communities, and Danika is someone setting an example of how to do so.
Want to be motivated by a badass woman who doesn't take no for an answer? Listen to Jenn. Jenn Hyman is the CEO and cofounder of the fashion and technology company Rent the Runway. She talks about resilience, about not taking no for an answer, and how she walked into Diane von Furstenberg's office, even after DVF cancelled their appointment.
This episode is PACKED with amazing wisdom, what hit hardest for me was this:
"If you want to change your results, don't just change your behaviors, changes the beliefs that DRIVE your behaviors"
John notes that the biggest things that hold people back are fear and non-conscious conditioning and that our bodies and minds are systems that we in fact DO own, but rarely have the tools to manage correctly. He believes strongly (and studied intensely) that sorting through the voices inside our heads is a management skill that creates the chemical response that wills us to take action, or sit on the sidelines
